The Person Behind Iris
Foot Health Practitioner & Founder
Ms. Nida Hamza
"True care for the foot begins with listening to the whole person — every step tells a story."
With over two decades of experience in foot health, Ms. Nida Hamza founded Iris Foot Care & Physiotherapy Center in Doha to bring internationally trained, evidence-based care to the Qatar community. Her journey began at Al Ahli Hospital Doha, where she ran her own specialist orthopedic lab in close collaboration with the hospital, working alongside its multidisciplinary healthcare teams to design and fabricate custom orthopedic insoles for patients with complex needs.
She went on to train across Europe as a foot health practitioner and podologist — in France, the UK, Poland, and Italy — specializing in baropodometric analysis and custom orthotic solutions.
Since 2015, she has led Iris Foot Care with a hands-on approach: detailed foot assessments, precise baropodometric interpretation, and insoles tailored to each patient's biomechanics. She also holds certifications in lymphology compression therapy and advanced podiatry units, and serves as Vice President of the European Center of Podiatry Science.
Her commitment extends to the community — as preferred podologist for the Ironman Turin Triathlon and Team In Training, and as a supporter of the Challenged Athlete's Foundation and lymphedema awareness initiatives in Doha.
